1. Agreement

Please find the terms and conditions for use of the product and services offered by Yaketyyak.net. Please take time and read through our terms and conditions carefully. By placing an order with us you automatically agree to be bound by these T&C.

2. Amendments

We reserve the right to update the terms from time to time and any changes will be notified via a suitable announcement on the website.

The changes will apply to the use of the Website after we have given such announcement. If you do not wish to accept the new Terms you should not continue to use the website. If you continue to use the Website after the date on which the changes come into effect, your use of the Website indicates your agreement to be bound by the new Terms.

3. Privacy policy

We are committed to protect your privacy. We confirm that information about you will be held and used lawfully in accordance to the Data Protection Act 1998. We will use your personal information for the following purpose: a. Processing your orders
b. To administer our Website
c. For Statistical purposes to improve this Website and its service to you
d. If you have not objected during the registration process, to notify you of products or special offers that may be of interest to you.

Where fraud is suspected we may pass on such information to help track down fraud attempts.

4. Availability

All products listed on our website are subject to availability. We generally have all items in stock for next day delivery, however occasionally there may be a small delay whilst more stock is acquired. You will be informed of any delays once your order is placed via email. In cases of a stock shortage an alternative or a refund will be offered if the item cannot be obtained within 3 working days.

5. Pricing

5.1 All the prices on the website already include VAT at 17.5%.

5.2 Although we endeavour to keep our pricing up to date and accurate we cannot be held responsible for any human errors made. We reserve the right to withdraw any offers at any time.

5.3 We reserve the right to change the price of any item on this website at anytime without prior notice.

6. Payment options

6.1 We accept all major credit and debit cards except for American Express. In case you wish to pay by bank transfer please call Customer Service number to obtain our bank details and further instructions.

6.2 The credit/debit card details that you provide may be used to carry out further checks or authorisations with the card issuer for security purposes. In some cases we may require a proof of ID and address.

6.3 Any complications to verify your details may cause the delay in the processing and despatch of your order.

6.4 Please be advised that in some instances when orders exceed £200 we may require customers to fax proof of identity i.e. either driving license or utility bill and a statement of the credit card you are paying with along with a copy of your credit card. The co-operation of our customers is appreciated, as this will help us reduce fraudulent orders.

7. Delivery

7.1 Once an order has been received our extensive credit card checks will be carried out.

7.2

Standard Delivery

All orders placed before 1pm, will be despatched within 2 working days.

Next day delivery

All orders placed for next day delivery before 1pm, will be despatched same day for next day delivery by 1pm.

Please note deliveries to Northern Ireland and most parts of Scotland may vary up to a 2 day delivery period and cannot be confirmed as next day service.

Saturday Delivery

All orders placed for Saturday delivery before 3pm on a Friday, will be despatched same day for delivery Saturday.

7.3 Deliveries require a signature upon receipt. Yakety Yak can not accept any responsibility for late delivery due to Initial City Link or Royal Mail delays.

7.4 Please note that we only deliver within UK. For overseas orders please call our customer service number to obtain further instructions. For all orders from overseas the P&P is to be paid by customer.

8. Cancellations

8.1 If you wish to cancel an order prior to receipt of the goods, you must do so by informing us in writing within 1 hour of placing the order. You can do so by emailing us by .

8.2 If you have received the goods, you must return all items for cancellations within seven days of receipt. Please call and request a return number.

8.3 It is the customer's responsibility for the safe returns of all goods. All items must be returned as they were received with the original packaging and full contents included, along with documentation and proof of purchase. Items returned in a less than pristine condition or damaged or missing packaging will incur charges to cover the cost of the items. You, the consumer, are responsible for all despatch costs for returning items, unless the handset is faulty.

8.4 If an item is not in the same condition as when supplied, we reserve the right to refuse cancellation, or apply an additional charge to compensate.

8.5 If Yakety Yak has refused cancellation, return of the item to the consumer will be at their own cost.

8.6 Please note that for all non defective returns and cancellations after the order has been processed a 5% administration fee will be charged in order to reimburse your credit/debit card.

1. Warranty information

All products come with a 12-month manufacturer's warranty unless otherwise stated. The warranty does not affect your statutory rights.

2. Returns procedure

2.1 Customers are advised to power up their new mobile phone within 20 days to ensure everything is in working order, we suggest you do not wait as we cannot replace any defective mobile phones after 20 days. Carefully unpack and inspect all merchandise taking care not to damage the original packaging.

2.2 We offer a 20-day replacement guarantee for mobile phones which suffer from a manufacturer's defect. If we are not able to replace the faulty handset an alternative or a refund will be offered.

2.3 For non defective branded handsets we offer 7 days money back guarantee if you are not happy with the item.

2.4 If your handset is defective in any way please contact our customer service number to obtain a returns number and further instructions.

2.5 All returns must be ready for sale condition, including returns number, original packaging materials, all cords, cables, cartons and documentation and warranty materials, and like-new condition of the merchandise and packaging materials.

2.6 If returning non defective product the customer is responsible for all shipping charges.

2.7 When returning an item we strongly advise to use Royal Mail special delivery to ensure that we will receive the item back safely. The refunds on postage will be only given if returning a defective item.

2.8 All handsets outside 30 day exchange period can only be repaired under 12-month manufacturer's warranty. Please contact our customer service team to obtain further instructions. If necessary we can provide a loan phone for the time being, however a deposit will be required.

3. Refunds

3.1 We will endeavour to process all authorised refunds within 7 working days. The funds will be credited to the same credit/debit card used at the time of purchase.

Second hand mobile phones

1. Warranty information

All products come with a 6 month return to base warranty.

2. Returns procedure

2.1 If your handset is defective in any way please contact our customer service number to obtain a returns number and further instructions.

2.2 When returning an item we strongly advise to use Royal Mail special delivery to ensure that we will receive the item back safely. The refunds on postage will be only given if returning a defective item.

2.3 Defective goods will be replaced upon receipt of the defective product. If we are not able to replace the item for the same make and model, an alternative or a refund will be offered.

2.4 All non defective products must be returned within 7 days. If returning non defective product, the customer is responsible for all shipping charges.

3.2 We will endeavour to process all authorised refunds within 7 working days. The funds will be credited to the same credit/debit card used at the time of purchase.

Contract phones

1. General

1.1 All our contract mobile phones are subject to a minimum 12 or 18 month contract with the relevant network or service provider. All contract connected mobile phones provided through Yakety Yak are subject to status and acceptance by the network. You must be a UK resident and be aged 18 years or over.

1.2 Credit check will be performed by the network using the information you have provided at the time of order. We cannot be held responsible for the outcome of this credit check.

1.3 The mobile phone network may in some cases ask for a deposit to be paid by the applicant before a connection can be made. The deposit is to be paid by credit/debit card at the point of sale.

1.4 By buying a "contract" mobile phone you also agree to accept the Terms & Conditions of the relevant network operators. Prepay SIM cards

1. Returns

1.1 If you wish to return a prepay SIM card for any reason you can do so within 7 days. All SIM cards have to be returned in original sealed packaging in order to obtain a refund.

1.2 If returning a SIM card all postal expenses are to be paid by consumer.

2. Refunds

2.1 We will endeavor to process all authorised refunds within 7 working days. The funds will be credited to the same credit/debit card used at the time of purchase.

Accessories

• Returns, Refunds and Cancellation: If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase it may be returned for a full refund within 7 days. Please send returned products to 13 Sentinel Square, Hendon,NW4 2EL, noting that any returned products remain the responsibility of the purchaser until received by us. For returns, we recommend you use one of the Royal Mail's premium services, such as recorded delivery. If we receive the item within 7 days of delivery, you will be refunded in full for the products returned, but not the cost of returning the item or the cost of the original carriage charged and in some cases a restocking fee of no more than 5% of the original price charged at the time of purchase. All refunds are processed by our Support Centre. All funds are returned to the card that was used to pay for the order, and can take up to 10 days to appear on the account.

• Goods Not Available For Shipment:With the best will in the world, some goods may not be in stock at the time you place your order. In the event that we cannot ship your goods within forty-eight hours of receipt of your order, we will contact you to advise the actual situation (provided that contact information has been provided) and take instructions from you on how you would prefer us to proceed.
